Don’t force a relationship to happen. Don’t get carried away by peer pressure. It is always best to be still and wait for ‘Kairos’ (God’s appointed time), because if it is the will of the Lord for you to be in a ‘forever-relationship’ with someone, He will make it happen, not by your own doing, but by His.. And being in a ‘Jesus-centered’ relationship glorifies God.
Take time to know each other, be friends and treat each other as brothers and sisters, for by treating each other as such, you learn to carefully love each other and treat each other with respect, with such a high value.
And as you wait for God’s best, faithfully serve God with the talents and spiritual gifts He gave you. Pray that you become a person worth waiting for. Above all, love the Lord your God. Love Him with all your heart, mind and strength. Sing and dance in His presence. Godly man and woman are rare, so if you find one, I declare that your relationship will be forever. :)“Be still, and know that I am God. - Psalm 46:10
Christianity is not a storm-free nor a storm-proof life. Christianity has got a lot of trials and suffering is good if you suffer for Christ’s sake not suffering for sin, because suffering for Christ’s sake means dying to self and enduring persecution. We no longer crave for human passion and desires, instead we focus our eyes on Jesus and do what pleases Him. He didn’t say that we will walk the narrow road smoothly without any suffering, but we will have many trials.
Apostle Peter reminded us in 1Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.
If you are insulted or mocked because of Jesus, rejoice because you are blessed. God is faithful. He will let you be tried by the enemy because He knows that you will be victorious afterwards, because He is with you and already won the fight for you.
God loves us. Do not be discouraged, do not let your heart wavered. But be strong for Christ’s sake and for the flock He entrusted you. For he who endures suffering here on earth is a steward of the future grace.
